Ignacio Méndez-Balbuena received the B.Sc. degree in physics, the M.Sc. degree in physiological sciences from Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, México, and the Ph.D. in physiology from Institute of Physiology, Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, México, 2004. Post-doctorate at the Laboratory for Motor Control, Neurological Clinic, Albert-Ludwigs University of Freiburg, Germany. Currently he is Professor of the Faculty of Psychology, Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. He is mainly interested in the development of paradigms related to experimental psycho-physiology.

Dr. Méndez Balbuena is member of the National System of Researchers Level 1.
